After over ten years as the first point of contact for the Great Weston 5 Mile Race, Tom Pomeroy has decided to take a long deserved sabbatical. Tom, along with his great Celtic whit, is allegedly going to enter next year, possibly not in the "youth" category though. He finally secured the length of the race at 8,046.7 metres using great technical assistance so he can comfortably run the race knowing that he is running five British miles or should it have been Celtic miles and how long are they anyway ........ Enjoy you retirement Tom.
His place is going to be taken by another great local character, known more for cycling than running, Seth Wilde, whose contact details are on the organisation page.
